16 real sites, and none of them are clients
Most portfolio pages show mockups on a floating laptop. Every image below is a screenshot taken from the live page by a script, and every URL is clickable so you can check it yourself.
Each tile is labelled for what it is: properties this studio owns and runs, client work, and one site built uninvited to prove a point. No borrowed logos and nothing left for you to assume.

A real one
We rebuilt a plumber’s site.
Nobody asked us to.
A family plumbing company in Prescott, Arizona. Licensed, 4.6 stars across 33 Google reviews, phone answered around the clock on weekdays. None of that was on their website. So we built the one they should have had, in a day, and put it online.

What we are not claiming
Their old site was not slow. It scored 95 on mobile performance and we did not pretend otherwise — it is the first row of the table, and it is marked a draw.
The problem was that it was empty: one page, a Reviews heading with nothing under it, an empty photo gallery, six unedited template blocks still saying “Detail your services”, and no address, hours or structured data anywhere. A fast page that answers no questions still loses the job.
They are not a client and did not ask for this. Everything on the rebuild came from their public Google profile and their own site — no invented reviews, no made-up prices. If they want it, it is theirs.

Lighthouse 12, headless Chrome, default mobile throttling, 2026-08-09.
Measured, not claimed
Every number below came out of Lighthouse
Run against a real headless Chrome on mobile config. Where a row says median, it is the middle of three passes rather than the flattering one. A run that failed was left out instead of guessed.
| Site | Performance | LCP | FCP | Measured |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| a1septictanks.com | 99 | 2.2s | 1s | 2026-08-08 |
| usdotlookup.com | 99 | 1.6s | 1.5s | 2026-08-08 |
| Page-builder templateA live GoDaddy Website Builder plumbing template — the kind of drag-and-drop site most contractors get sold. | 85 | 3.7s | 2.4s | 2026-08-08 |
| GoHighLevel funnelA live funnel page served off GoHighLevel's own infrastructure — the platform a lot of contractors are resold. Median of three runs (81, 81, 70), not the best one. | 81 | 3.9s | 3.3s | 2026-08-08 |
The two slower rows are a live page-builder template and a live funnel page, not a named contractor’s business. Showing a real competitor’s bad score to sell against would be a different kind of business than this one.
How to judge any of these
Four checks you can run yourself
- 01
Open it on your phone, not your laptop
Most of your customers will. If the phone number is not tappable in the first screenful, the site is decoration.
- 02
Time it on cell service
Not office wifi. Anything past three seconds is losing people who never tell you they left.
- 03
Count the real pages
A five-page brochure ranks for five things. Depth is how a trade site wins, which is why one of these carries 87 pages and another carries millions.
- 04
Run PageSpeed Insights on it
It is free and it takes 30 seconds. Do it to these sites, and do it to the site of whoever else is pitching you.

No call, no quote, no proposal.
$1,000 covers the build and the first 3 months. Pay, fill in one form, and it's booked against this month's capacity. Bigger job than that? Text your trade and towns and we'll quote it by hand.
You own the site from day one. The monthly cancels any month.
